At a recent sale, a lady was selling these GORGEOUS hydrangeas bouquets. Since none of my bushes bloomed this year, I've been looking for some stems so I can dry them for a nice vase arrangement. They are just beautiful!!

Today my Mom and I hit a sale and I found this oh so cute side table for only $7. I've been looking for a night stand for our bedroom and I thought this would look perfect in the room. It was a little rough looking, so I cleaned it up and put some by the bed essentials on it...and PERFECT!

While walking into Wegmans the other day, I spotted some mini rose bushes that were only 99 cents! I picked up 4 bushes to put in my new garden! Hopefully they'll come back next year

deal of the day, no the YEAR!!

I was out at some sales with my Mom on Saturday, and I was looking around at one sale. I saw 3 baskets sitting on the floor. I calmly asked the seller how much they were, and she said $2 each!! SOLD!! They were all Longenberger baskets which sell for a lot more!! My Mom used to sell them so I know how valuable they were, so I was SO excited about my deal of the YEAR!! I am going to use the larger one for all of our remote controls in our family room, and add the others to my large collection!

I was out at some yard sales this past weekend, and boy did I find some goodies!! One of my finds was this old dressform. My Mom and I were looking at it and it had only $5 on it!! Debating over it, the person who was running the sale came over and said she will take $3!! How could I pass it up!?! I think I am going to put in the front entrance of the house and dress it up a bit!!

Shabby Chic that is!! Lately at

sales I've been finding lots of pretty chic things; like this plate with pink roses and some fabric that has a washed out look to it. I think I might have to make MORE pillows with that fabric!!

There is even a line by Rachel Ashwell at Target where you can find REALLY pretty bedding and household items.

I can't wait to see what other chic items I can find!!

i found some goodies

Yesterday my Mom and I went to a few sales, and I found some goodies; some more glass canisters for my craft items, a glass pitcher for some yummy summer drinks, a very pretty plate to hang in the kitchen and some other great finds. I think we are on a glass kick lately! Another great find was a STACK of Country Home magazines for free!!

This Saturday and Sunday is the big flea market sale at Antique World in Clarence, I might have to go on Sunday!

the season has begun!

Garage sales are great to find gently used things and fixer-upers. My Mom and I went to a couple of sales on friday to see if we could find interesting, and we did definently go home with a couple of gems! At the first sale we went to we found lots of glass canisters that would be perfect for my craft things or displaying objects and an old lantern ; at the next sale I found even more canisters that were smaller in size for 5 cents each! Love it! We were driving to the next and we found a sofa and 2 chairs that would look great in my sun room or even use it outside...for free!! We went to some others and found some more great finds.
