I know it's been awhile. It's has been so nice here and I have been working on a lot of different projects! Barbados, Antigua, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, and San Juan. I got these cute bottles from Michaels, filled them up, added the cork, and wrapped twine around the stem of the bottle. I made these tags by dying them with food coloring and water. I let them sit in the dye for about 8 hours, and let dry over a crumpled paper towel to make them a little inperfect looking. Have to say it was the BEST one I've ever had! This has to be one of my favorite Caribbean Islands. It was so beautiful and there was so much to see and learn. The picture above is where the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet. Since we would go shopping a lot I started to see over and over again these old compacts. I thought it would make going to the antique stores a little more exciting to start collecting something. So I started buying and collecting compacts. It's amazing how many there are out there.
