Happy New Year!!
Hope everyone had a great New Year! We spent the day in Buffalo, watching the Ice Bowl, and celebrating Mike's cousin's birthday at his Aunt's house. Great day filled with family and fun!

cookies everywhere!
I went to a Christmas COOKIE exchange party over the weekend. I made peanut butter blossom cookies to pass. YUM! There was A LOT of different kinds, chocolate snowballs, almond spritz, applesauce raisin, pumpkin raisin, cranberry bread, gold 'ol cut outs, brownies, and baklava and some others. It was at my cousins house, so it was nice to see her, my Great Aunt, and of course my Mom!

disco partyyy
look at this crazy bunch! we all went to the World's Largest Disco in Buffalo on Saturday for the 4th year in a row! it was too much fun dressing up and dancing!this year they had
Erik Estrada, "Ponch" from the TV show CHIP's as the celebrity guest. they also had the world's largest disco shoe. there is over 7000 people there and it always gets sold out!
can't wait for next year!!

body shoppe
Tonight I went to a at home party for The Body Shop over my cousin Beth's house. When I got the invitation in the mail I was surprised to see that they have home parties! I haven't bought anything from them in years and years, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to find out what they offer and to see my cousins that I haven't seen since the wedding!
The party started off with a hand treatment and then while the consultant talked about the products we soaked our feet and rubbed them with body polish and lotion! Boy did it feel good on my tired feet from standing all day!!
I decided to purchase White Musk perfume, a purse (most of the proceeds goes to charities) and a pomegranate set with lotion, shower gel and body polish. I can't wait until I get them!
FYI- Mary Kay does similar parties where you pamper yourself through a party; if anyone is interested... let me know!! ;)

Today is my birthday!!! Wooohooo!!!! Going out to lunch and shopping, then over my parents house for dinner, presents and CAKE!! and then who knows what!

meet geni
Mike introduced me to a website where you can make you own personal family tree, called Geni. You can add people and have the option to add email addresses and have the tree sent to them as well. They can add their own data, extending the your tree. We started making our tree complete with pictures and email adresses of members. Start making your own tree here!!

our little patient
Our little patient, Coco is doing very well. When I brought her home yesterday she was very tired, so she slept for the rest of the day. Today when I let her out of her cage, she was still groggy. I gave her pain medication and some food and she almost instantly was back to her regular self; trying to play and running around. When my Mom and I were out today, I bought her a little onesy shown in the pic to stop her from licking her incision, as the nurse told me at the vet, but that only lasted so long before she was trying to bite it off. Hopefully in a couple more days she'll be at 100%. She's such a good little girl!!

Today is my Dad's birthday! He was actually born on Mother's day, what a present for my Grandma! Tonight we will be celebrating again with food, cake and presents!
