It's been awhile since I've posted last...but lets get this week started off right with a Monday post...

These CUTE plates I just bought at the Dollar Tree store on Saturday. I have been wanting a set of Christmas like plates that I could use around the holiday. And then I saw these, and thought that I would try them out for awhile! They also have bowls and mugs! I might have to go back and expand my collection.

While walking into Wegmans the other day, I spotted some mini rose bushes that were only 99 cents! I picked up 4 bushes to put in my new garden! Hopefully they'll come back next year

I was at Michaels yesterday after work, and I was checking out their $1 items. Mary Engelbreit has the CUTEST stuff!! I got all these things including picture bookmark, notecards, magnetic frames and she has other things there too!! Love it!! Check it out!!

deal of the day, no the YEAR!!

I was out at some sales with my Mom on Saturday, and I was looking around at one sale. I saw 3 baskets sitting on the floor. I calmly asked the seller how much they were, and she said $2 each!! SOLD!! They were all Longenberger baskets which sell for a lot more!! My Mom used to sell them so I know how valuable they were, so I was SO excited about my deal of the YEAR!! I am going to use the larger one for all of our remote controls in our family room, and add the others to my large collection!

Yesterday I went to one of my favorite home decorating stores: The Christmas Tree Shop. You can find all kinds of goodies there for such low prices! For example I bought a teacup bird feeder (see picture) for only $3.99. I put it next to an old wicker chair in my garden. And I love how its pink! I also purchased 2 paper lanterns that are battery operated, they are looking great in my sun room! Every time I go I find so many good things there! Check out their website for other great deals! And don't worry they don't have anything Christmas right now!
